SheScores Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

SheScores ("we," "us," or "our") is a product of Wingspan Sports. We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have in relation to it.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you create an account or use SheScores:

• First name and last name
• Email address
• Password (stored securely and encrypted — we never see your actual password)
• Timezone (detected automatically from your browser)
• How you found us (referral source, if available)
• Your favorite teams and leagues
• Date and time of last activity on the app

We do not collect payment information, physical address, phone number, or any sensitive personal data.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account
• Display your name in the app interface
• Save and sync your favorite teams across devices
• Send you transactional emails related to your account
• In the future, send you game notifications and updates for your favorite teams (you will be able to opt in or out)
• Improve the app based on usage patterns
• Respond to your feedback and support requests

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information for advertising purposes.

4. Sponsored Content and Partners

From time to time SheScores may partner with sponsors and brands to include sponsored content or promotional messages in our email communications. If we do this, all sponsored content will be clearly labeled as such. We will never sell your email address or personal data to third parties. Sponsors pay to be included in our communications but do not receive access to your personal information. You may unsubscribe from SheScores emails at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every email. Unsubscribing will remove you from all SheScores email communications including sponsored content.

5. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a third-party database provider. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.

6. Cookies

We use cookies to:

• Keep you logged in between sessions
• Remember that you have dismissed the sign-up popup
• Understand how users navigate the app (analytics)

We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

7. Third-Party Services

SheScores uses the following third-party services which may process your data as part of delivering the service:

• Supabase — database and authentication
• ESPN API — live sports score data (no personal data shared)
• Google Workspace — email delivery

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Opt out of any future marketing communications

9. Children's Privacy

SheScores is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately at hi@shescoressports.app.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of any material changes by email. Continued use of SheScores after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
